Prednisolone is notoriously bitter. Tips to help:

Mix with something strong-tasting: Chocolate syrup, grape juice, or Nutella
Chill it: Cold liquids mask taste better
Quick chaser: Have favorite drink ready immediately after
Numb taste buds: Have child suck on ice chip first
Ask about Orapred ODT: Dissolving tablets may taste slightly better

โš ๏ธ Important Precautions

Tell your doctor if child:
  • Has been exposed to chickenpox or measles
  • Has any infections
  • Is taking other medications
  • Has diabetes

Don't stop suddenly if taking for more than 5-7 days - may need to taper.
